For more than fourteen years, the AIA|LA City Leaders Breakfast Series has connected AIA|LA members to elected officials, policy makers, developers, institutional clients and others who are key to transforming the Los Angeles region.

For small to mid-size firms, these small-group/roundtable meetings may serve as an introductions to elected officials, institutional clients or policy experts. For firms of all sizes, they provide opportunities to influence the built and natural environment, and learn more about the viewpoints of regional leaders.

Topics may include economic development, energy and water conservation, open space, architecture, urban design and land-use policy. Though originated for members, all stakeholders interested in the built environment are welcome. Past speakers include the Mayor of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Council Members, California State Senators, Assembly Members, General Managers, Deputy Mayors, School Superintendents and leading Developers among many notable others.
