As the fourth largest local AIA Chapter, AIA Los Angeles offers many avenues for you to elevate your career, mentor the next generation, and influence change at the local, state and national level.
AIA|LA advances the practice of architecture by providing resources to members at all career stages; and, with our nonprofit, Architecture for Communities Los Angeles, we promote public awareness and understanding of the value of design and provide a platform for community engagement to influence change.

Who we are and what we do
We are honored to advocate on behalf of our 4,500 members, and to support them through a full spectrum of resources that empower individual architects, strengthen firms, advocate for the profession, and support our communities and region through design. AIA|LA’s programs and events foster aspirations, capabilities, and leadership through advocacy, education, inspiration, advancement of core-values, support for individual practices, and pathways to, and celebration of, design excellence.
