In 2007, the month of October was officially proclaimed Architecture Month by the City of Los Angeles, with the intention to celebrate the built environment and bring awareness to the importance of design to the community at large. Read the Resolution at the bottom of the page.

In celebration of Architecture Month 2022, AIA|LA and our education and communities-focused branch, Architects for Communities Los Angeles (ACLA), and many of our community partners will host a wide variety of events across the city, to educate the public about architecture and architects, celebrate the profession, and encourage the dialogue among those interested in the built environment.
