AWARDS
Restaurant Design Awards 2021

The Restaurant Design Awards took a break in 2020, but is back to honor eateries, in two different ways, for offering up food and comfort during a challenging year that has demanded resilience and ingenuity.

The first:* this year we celebrate the ingenuity of restaurants, cafes, and bars–large or small–and their designers, as they met the moment with the design of new and fresh indoor and al fresco dining solutions. The categories are: + Built Restaurants & Cafés/Bars + Unbuilt Restaurants & Cafés/Bars  + Built Al Fresco Restaurants & Cafés/Bars + Unbuilt Al Fresco Restaurants & Cafés/Bars.

We’ve just announced the 2021 AIALA Restaurant Awards Finalists. You can discover them here, along with a link to the RDA People’s Choice Awards.

The 2021 AIALA Restaurant Design Awards is presented in partnership with the Latino Restaurant Association.

*Two: we’ll honor the restaurants who kept serving-up food (take-out or outdoors) through the ups and downs of the last twelve months. Whether theses eateries are still open or not, you’ll find their names on this page and in a number of outgoing communications. For example,  Salsa and Beer in North Hollywood.
