Following the May 22 opening of the 2×8: Interlaced Exhibition on Helms Bakery Walk in Culver City, join AIA|LA in taking a up-close look at design by leading students from schools across the region. The evening will feature networking and light refreshments, as well as a quick presentation of the 2×8 projects by the students who designed them, in conversation between 2×8 Interlaced Jurors:
- Carlos Madrid – Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill (SOM)
- Catherine Johnson, AIA – Design, Bitches
- Jeanne Chen, AIA – Moore Ruble Yudell Architects and Planners
Hear from Somewhere Something (Biayna Bogosian + Robbie Mehring) and Studio Hetanos (Armen Zeitounian), the designers of the 2×8 Interlaced Exhibition, as well as information about winners of the AIA|LA’s Mobile Center for Architecture and Design Competition, graciously sponsored by GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD.
