If you are looking for work the WiA is here to support you. Two hiring experts share their own unique perspectives on the current state of the architecture job market – and how you can make the right moves for your future, today and in the long term. One can give you insights from the firm point of view, the second expert has latest-data and job-market forecasting. This is the first of a two-part series; the next program will help you rock a Zoom meeting and give you more confidence when pursuing jobs.
Find out about the shifting sands of the architecture business, and how you can adapt and best position yourself as a valuable, sought-after asset for firms of all sizes and specialities.
Additionally, although we are living through unprecedented times, there are some things that never change – which is why you’ll also learn timeless advice about your portfolio, interview etiquette, effective and appropriate communication with potential employers and much more.
It’s going to be a valuable hour that could lead to big things for you!
Our special guests for this workshop are Jenna Knudsen (CO Architects) and Lily Bergmann (Bespoke Careers).
Jenna, a Principal, will provide an incredibly informative inside look from the executive level, and share what firms look for in potential new team members.
Lily is a seasoned recruiter who has developed an eagle eye for what firms want, and will enlighten us on what people should and should not do when pursuing a position at a new firm.
Together, they’ll provide insights that can help you change course on your current career journey, and will answer your questions about what the future may hold in the field we all love so much.
Remember, there are brighter days ahead – together we’ll learn how to get there sooner rather than later.
