NEXT GEN ARCHITECTS:  Meet & Greet Mixer

Come and meet your partner-the principals and teachers of LA Unified’s Architecture/Engineering Pathways.  Linked Learning Pathways expose students to California’s major industries (such as architecture), giving them a better understanding of the types of career paths and jobs available, while helping them develop the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in post-secondary education and career development.  In the spirit of developing more inclusive and equitable opportunities for students to gain access to a career in architecture, AIA Los Angeles and LAUSD are collaborating on a series of initiatives to further diversify the architecture profession.

This meet & greet gala will serve as a forum for more architects and designer to connect with the teachers and principals who are leading this effort to build tomorrow’s leaders in the profession.

The following honored guests have been INVITED to our Meet & Greet Mixer:
Austin Beutner – Superintendent, LAUSD
Brett Steele – Dean, UCLA School of Architecture
Ingalill Wahlroos-Ritter, FAIA – Dean, Woodbury School of Architecture
