The Hoag Hospital Irvine Master Plan is built upon the idea of a Wellness Village concept, a pedestrian-friendly campus of multiple low-scale buildings and open spaces designed to enhance the human experience both indoors and outdoors. With inpatient institutes located at the main public access points, it creates a healthcare village that compliments the existing structures and establishes a new “front door” to the community. The Master Plan will be completed in two phases and Phase 1 is current focus

Muhsin Lihony – Director of Healthcare, LPA Design Studios, Inc.
As Director of Healthcare, Muhsin Lihony has more than 29 years of experience in both design and management of complex healthcare projects. Muhsin’s experience in all facets of project planning, design, delivery, and management has allowed him to develop practical and efficient design, and the management techniques and skills to lead complex, multi-disciplined teams. Muhsin has managed numerous accounts and multi-million-dollar projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $900 million utilizing Integrated Project Delivery/ Progressive Design Build Delivery methods. He is committed to innovation and forward thinking along with placing emphasis on responding to client’s needs in a thorough, detailed, and timely manner.

Jennifer Cheng – Sr. Program Manager, Planning Design & Development, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian
Jennifer Cheng leads Real Estate, Planning, and Design strategy for Hoag. She specializes in understanding the integrated network of projects, facilitating creative ways to connect strategies, and using research and best practices to design innovative new models of care delivery to improve outcomes and experience for our patients. Serves as the bridge between leadership, strategy, operations, design, construction and is responsible for planning and developing the complex portfolio of projects at Hoag.

 

Tara Laski – Project Executive, DPR Construction
With a BS in Construction Engineering, Tara has spent 20 years supporting a blend of construction projects. From 2008 – 2016 she worked at Universal Health Services; her focus was driving IPD teams, where she developed, lead, and mentored individuals to create high functioning teams.
Currently at DPR Construction, Tara is focused on supporting DPR’s Healthcare clients. Her hands-on construction management experience helps her to anticipate and accurately forecast potential issues, prioritize problem resolutions, and positively impact project delivery.
Tara is passionate about open collaboration among team members and the atmosphere of innovation that it promotes. In that spirit, she continues to look for ways to bring only best in class results to each client.
