Chair
Carlos Madrid III

Carlos Madrid III, has more than 18 years of experience in the architecture and interior design industry. With a combination of high energy and aptitude for innovation, Carlos’s contributions have been consistently recognized for their rational yet provocative approach.

Carlos’s portfolio is diverse in scale, scope and location. Recent accomplishments include the 100 million dollar upgrades to LAX’s central terminal area, the repositioning of several developer owned properties to creative workplace environments including the Pen Factory in Santa Monica and 777 Aviation in El Segundo and G-Cubed; an award winning rooftop garden and gym for CBRE in Century City, California.

Currently, he is working on Halo; a repositioning of the Wells Fargo Center on Bunker Hill in downtown L.A., a multitude of projects for Loyola Marymount University; including a new ground up film and television school and two tech-centric workplace campuses in China.

Vice Chair
Janani Kannan, AIA

Jan Kannan is a graduate of Cornell University and a fearless advocate of sustainable design practice.  Prior to working at Corgan as a Senior Associate, Jan practiced interior architecture in India and Singapore.  She is a self-professed avid anthropological history buff who loves cooking, a bit of beer and a lot of Bollywood musicals. For her inspiration, motivation and creativity, she looks to her ever-inquisitive and growing son.

Colleen Peach, AIA

Colleen is a Senior Associate with KGM Architectural Lighting. She is a licensed architect with 10+ years of experience with fours exclusively in lighting design. Her seamless transition into the realm of lighting design proved to be successful allowing her to continue to oversee projects from schematic design through construction and integrate the two cohesively.
