Kirill Volchinsky

B.Arch 2017 Cal Poly Pomona, Designer at STIR Architecture

Kirill Volchinskiy is an architect at the Los Angeles office of STIR Architecture, an internationally recognized practice. He is actively involved in educational projects for the Los Angeles Community College District. Kirill holds a B.Arch from Cal Poly Pomona, and he lectures at his alma mater as well.

Tatiana Sarkisian

M.Arch 2016 The Southern California Institute of Architecture, Designer at Gensler

Tatiana is a designer at the global design and architecture firm Gensler, where she works in the education sector on varying institutional projects. She contributes to firm initiatives such as the context lecture series hosted by KCRW and the IDEAS journal and is actively working on her licensure. Tatiana holds a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and received a bachelor’s in economics from the University of California, Irvine. She has been a member of the committee since 2017.

Chuc Nguyen

Designer at Steinberg Hart

Growing up in Paris before establishing himself in Los Angeles, Chuc highly values diversity and multiculturalism. He is interested in architecture that influences and is influenced by art and culture, and that questions the status quo.

Chuc received his Bachelors of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona in 2018 and is currently a designer at Steinberg Hart, where he has worked on a number of mixed-use, residential and higher education projects.

Sr. Designer, LA office director

Jenda joined AB Design Studio, a renowned and award winning firm in Santa Barbara, in 2016 after operating his own LA based design office since 2009. In addition to his architectural work through his firm Vertu Studio, he was also a presenter at a variety of SoCal conferences and created a gallery exhibition of the architectural design process at Bergamot Station.
Currently, he is managing a variety of AB projects and developing the company’s fledgling office in West LA.

Studied Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Architecture at USC.  Current designer at STIR Architecture, an internationally recognized architecture firm.  Is actively working on large-scale mixed use projects with Stir’s Los Angeles and Amsterdam based offices.
