DESCRIPTION:The 2024 AIA|LA and LACP Urban Design Review Sessions\nArchitects & designers passionate about improving the design quality of newly proposed projects throughout the City of Los Angeles are encouraged to participate in the AIA|LA & Los Angeles City Planning (LACP) Professional Volunteer Program (PVP). \nPLEASE REGISTER HERE.\nWHAT:\nIn 2024\, we will be coordinating thirt-six urban design review sessions\, which will serve as opportunities for leading design talent to help the Los Angles City Planning’s Urban Design Studio critically review upcoming projects throughout the City.   \nTO PREPARE:  The following resources are helpful to review in advance to become more familiar with the Urban Design Studio’s three design approaches.  \n\nCitywide Design Guidelines\nAbove-Grade Parking Advisory\n\nWHY:\nThe review sessions will will enable a rotating pool of architects and designers the opportunity to provide insightful and critical design feedback on pending projects that will be reviewed by the Planning Commission.
