SUMMARY:AIA|LA Site Tour/Lunch and Learn hosted by MODAA Construction at Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills\, CA
DESCRIPTION:Click here for Ticket Purchase Instructions & Support. \nEVENT DETAILS\nJoin us for a tour of our restaurant build at the renowned Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills\, CA. \nMODAA Construction will provide a catered lunch and refreshments as we cover learning objectives and elaborate on how the architect influences\, RFI volume\, sequencing\, cost\, and schedule. \n  \nSPEAKER\n \nRosie Abramyan – Co-Founder of MODAA Construction \nRosie Abramyan has spent over 18 years in luxury construction\, and she’s learned that the most important work often happens before a single wall goes up. \nAs Co-Founder of MODAA Construction\, she’s built her career at the intersection of vision and execution\, leading projects from the earliest planning conversations through final delivery. Her background in general contracting\, construction management\, and pre-construction consulting has shaped how she thinks about every project: methodically\, creatively\, and always with an eye on what the numbers are actually saying. Value engineering isn’t a buzzword in her world. It’s how great spaces get built without the process unraveling. \nShe built MODAA alongside her husband\, her business partner and\, by most accounts\, her favorite person to debate a project decision with. Together they’ve grown something that started small and became something the industry respects. And somewhere along the way\, she landed on a truth that quietly guides everything she does: you can either build an ego or a beautiful life\, you can’t do both. She chose the latter\, and it shows in how she works\, how she leads\, and what she values. \nWhen she’s not deep in a project\, Rosie is on the tennis court\, in her garden\, or somewhere with a glass of French wine she’s probably been looking forward to all week. She starts her day with meditation and coffee. Above everything else\, she celebrates being a mom and the life she’s built with the people she loves most. \n  \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES\nAIA CES TBD \n-COMMON SEQUENCING MISTAKES\n-HOW LATE OR INCOMPLETE DESIGN DECISIONS TRIGGER RFIS\n-THE ARCHITECT’S INFLUENCE\n-BEST PRACTICES FOR REDUCING RFI VOLUME\n-RIPPLE EFFECTS ON SCHEDULE AND PROCUREMENT \n  \nPARKING\nStreet parking is available. \n
