SUMMARY:LUNCH AND LEARN: CERNO
DESCRIPTION:Additional information regarding the check-in process will be emailed directly to registrants 24 hours before the event.\nMeet one of the Founders of Cerno and delve into the seamless fusion of art and engineering\, crafting sustainable fixtures.\nExplore the symbiosis of art and engineering in crafting fixtures that not only illuminate spaces but also prioritize sustainability and energy efficiency. \n \nBret Englander – Co-Founder – Director of Sales and Marketing \nBret Englander grew up in Laguna Beach\, California. Laguna is an exciting melting pot of artists\, surfers\, hippies\, and entrepreneurs\, which led to his passion for the natural environment\, design and being an entrepreneur. Bret’s father ran his own business that specialized in product development in the homebuilding industry\, and that meant many weekends were spent touring the latest completed homes he worked on\, which Bret credits for his drive and ability to combine the creative and analytical sides of running a business.  Originally Bret wanted to pursue a career in journalism and film\, which is what he studied at the University of Colorado. After working at a newspaper\, he decided to switch gears and pursued a career in business which led to a few informative roles in finance and marketing. In 2009 Bret teamed up with childhood best friends Daniel Wacholder and Nick Sheridan to start Cerno\, as Co-founder\, Bret wears many hats but focuses his efforts on business development as Cerno’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Cerno is a California based design and manufacturing company that over the last ten years has grown from the three founders to a team of approximately 50 people that share a passion for design and making modern lighting in Southern California. \n  \nCerno’s product line\, is celebrated for its unparalleled quality and design. Founded in 2009 by a trio of lifelong friends—Nick Sheridan\, Bret Englander\, and Dan Wacholder—Cerno emerged from the idyllic surroundings of Laguna Beach\, a place that fostered their creativity and passion for design. From their early endeavors in boat building to the establishment of Cerno\, their journey was driven by a shared commitment to create beautiful\, lasting creations. Today\, Cerno is renowned for its innovative LED lighting fixtures and furniture that embody craftsmanship\, sustainability\, and original design\, all made in America under one roof in California. \n  \n \n  \nParking Lot and Street Parking available.
