Allied Affiliate Membership: What's in it for me?

Dear Prospective Allied Affiliate Member:

The AIA/Los Angeles Chapter is your professional organization, comprised of architects, associate members working towards licensure or for a licensed architect, and Allied Affiliate members like yourself who work as consultants, marketing professionals, architectural photographers or illustrators, manufacturers, vendors, or in a number of allied fields.


When you join now, your dues of $91.50* cover membership at the local (Los Angeles Chapter) level, effective July 1 through December 31, 2008. Benefits of membership include:

* Use of the credentials “Affiliate AIA/LA” after your name

* Free admission to monthly Committee Events on topics like the Environment, Health Care, Interiors, and Urban Design—plus our New Beginnings series of panel discussions presented by the AIA/LA Emerging Architects/Young Architects Forum

* Discounts on Professional Development Seminars, Home Tours and the Masters of Architecture lecture series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, featuring contemporary architects at the forefront of their field

* Special member prices on AIA contract documents in paper format through the Chapter Office

Below you’ll find your application for membership. Please fill out completely and return it to the AIA Los Angeles Chapter Office along with the following:

1. A check for $91.50, payable to AIA (this covers your AIA Los Angeles dues from April 1 through Dec. 31, 2008) or your MasterCard, VISA or American Express billing information for this amount. State membership is optional and costs an additional $125.00.
