Represent AIA LA as a 2014 Convention Delegate

One of the most important things you can do as an AIA member is to represent your association as a Convention Delegate.

If you’re attending the 2014 AIA Convention in Chicago, we invite you to join us for this very exciting opportunity.

Delegates must commit to:

  • Join your colleagues at the AIA California Council Breakfast Caucus, McCormick Place Room S406A, Thursday June 26 from 7-8am
  • Hear the candidate speeches at the business session in the Arie Crown Theatre, Lakeside Center at McCormick Place, Thursday June 26 at 10am
  • Familiarize yourself with candidates & issues at the California Regional Caucus breakouts immediately following the business session, 11:15am-12:30pm in Room S401
  • Accredit & vote for candidates at AIA Town Hall (Expo Booth 2227) on Thursday June 26 or Friday June 27 (you must accredit & vote before 4pm Friday)
  • Vote for bylaws amendments & resolutions at the Saturday Business Session, June 28 from 8:15-10am, Arie Crown Theatre, Lakeside Center at McCormick Place
  • Be available for a possible runoff vote from 10am-2pm on Saturday June 28, Booth 2227 (AIA Town Hall)

Note: Unless you are present at the Saturday Business Session, your votes will not be counted.

We also invite you to celebrate the accomplishments of your friends and colleagues at the Fellows Investiture, Friday June 28 from 4-6pm at Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E Congress Parkway, and the California Fellows Reception, Friday Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, Sheraton II Room, 301 E North Water Street.
