Call for Projects: Have you renovated a mid-century home?

3780 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA

Call for Projects: Have you renovated a mid-century home? Then AIA|LA wants YOU to be a part of the launch of our new Single-House Home Tour Series this September!

AIA|LA already offers an amazing and successful Home Tour Series featuring 4 to 5 contemporary homes in day tour, AIA|LA would like to broaden our scope and offer our members and the general public the opportunity to visit homes designed by "Founding Fathers" of California Modernism. We would like to give the public the unique opportunity to visit historic homes in Los Angeles neighborhoods that, otherwise, they may never get a chance to explore!

WHAT WE WANT....

If you or your firm have renovated or helped to renovate a historic home designed by such great iconic architects as Rudolph Schindler, Richard Neutra, Craig Ellwood, Pierre Koenig, A. Quincy Jones or any other Case Study or mid-century home located in Los Angeles, AIA|LA wants to hear from you!

We are looking for homes that represent the modern architecture movement going on in California that introduced and paved the way for such amazing Los Angeles landmarks and contemporary homes in our region.

THE VISTIOR'S EXPERIENCE

Visitors on the Single-House Home Tour will have the opportunity to tour the home with the architect(s) and meet with fellow architecture aficionados. AIA|LA will carefully curate this "mini-home tour" working with the architect(s) or firm to allow visitors the opportunity to have a guided tour of the home, as well as offer suggestions to make the most of the neighborhood the home is in.

We are looking forward to launching this next Home Tour Series with help from you!
