6th Annual Restaurant Design Awards

A panel of distinguished jurors, composed of LARA DEAM (Founder/Owner, Dwell), BEN FORD (Chef & Restaurateur, Ford’s Filling Station), CLIVE PIERCY (Principal, Air Conditioned design), JOEY SHIMODA, AIA (Principal, Shimoda Design Group) convened on May 20, 2010 to review this year’s entries and designate projects for recognition.

Eleven projects were selected as finalists for this year’s competition: 3 in the Restaurant Category, 5 in the Café Category and 3 in the Bar/Lounge Category. The Jury Awards will be announced at the Restaurant Design Awards Ceremony on June 25th. In the meantime,

The Jury’s top selections in each category are listed below and we invite everyone to vote for your favorite architecturally-designed restaurant, café and bar/lounge. The highest recipient of votes in each category will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and declared the winner of the 2010 AIA|LA People’s Choice Award!
