Urban theorist and architect Kyong Park visits Los Angeles to discuss 'New Silk Roads'

Join us March 2nd at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (REDCAT) in downtown Los Angeles for a special event with urban theorist and architect Kyong Park. Perhaps best know as founder and director of the StoreFront for Art and Architecture, New York and the International Center for Urban Ecology, Detroit and New York, Kyong Park visits REDCAT to discuss his recent project, New Silk Roads (NSR), a multi-faceted urban research project that explores the nascent urban conditions emerging in rapidly expanding Asian cities and regions.

Kyong Park's work incites rich dialogue between the fields of art, architecture, and urban geography. I invite you and your colleagues to join the dialogue at REDCAT on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 8:30 pm. Additional information and tickets are available on our website at: www.redcat.org/event/kyong-pa
