Translating Urban Moments to influence Future L.A.
Through a previous series of three roundtable discussions with the AIA|LA UDC it became apparent that the problems of car-centric culture have been a determining factor in the lack of recognizing the importance of effective open space and urban moments. A presentation and map has been conceptualized in response to the dynamic dialogue held in these meetings. The main message of this presentation is to focus on what works in Los Angeles and what features of these urban spaces give them merit, acting as a tool for the many influencers of design projects.
