Green California Community College Summit

The Green California Community College Summit is coming to Pasadena from October 11-13, 2010.

There's no doubt that these are challenging times for public education - but an increasing number of colleges are finding that savings from green programs can offset cuts in other areas.

Workforce training programs are also bringing funding and new opportunities to serve communities.

Beyond all this, the need for new capacity means that new facilities will be built and starting in January 2011 - when CALGreen (the state's new green building code) becomes mandatory - all new construction will be green.

The Summit's education program offers you a chance to get up to date on the latest innovations in policy, technology and practice in all these areas.
