Free Panel Discussion: Architecture in Two Dimensions

Free Panel Discussion: Architecture in Two Dimensions Thursday, March 4, 2010 | 7:00 p.m.

Join us this Thursday at the Getty Center for a lively discussion about the representation of architecture in two-dimensional media.

Journalist Frances Anderton, host of KCRW's DnA: Design and Architecture and L.A. editor of Dwell magazine, leads a discussion with:

  • Architect Mario Violich, who uses watercolor and drawing studies to launch his designs

  • Digital media pioneer Stephen Murray, who uses 3-D simulations to study Gothic cathedrals

  • Photographer and cultural historian Peter Hales, author of Silver Cities: Photographing American Urbanization, 1839-1939

This special event celebrates three architecture-themed exhibitions on view now at the Getty Center.

Parking is FREE for evening events.
