Join the AIA Committee on the Environment as it kicks off its 2012-13 tenure with two new co-chairs. The co-chairs will present their vision for a re-vamped COTE, with an expanded mission and new goals in support of the committee's historic concerns with carbon neutral urban planning and building design.
In addition, the out-going co-chairs will provide updates on the upcoming AltBuild and AltCar events planned for later this year. We invite you to come and be a part of this exciting and pivotal discussion for COTE, in which the co-chairs will field new ideas and directions for and from committee members and the public at large.
We are looking for volunteers to serve as a small advisory committee to assist in the implementation of new strategies to re-position COTE within a broader disciplinary and cultural environment and welcome the contribution of fresh ideas for this extremely important educational and outreach component of the AIA.
