This is your chance to see still and digital photography at the world renowned Annenberg Space for Photography. Learn about the architectural and design challenges that were met for this state of the art facility. Two brief video presentations will follow the discussion including: Sport: Looss & Leifer, interviews, commentary and photographs featuring some of the most memorable and awe-inspiring moments in the history of sports.
The interior design was influenced by the mechanics of a camera and its lens. The central, circular digital gallery is contained within the square building to create an architectural metaphor for a convex lens. Even the ceiling features a striking, iris-like design that is reminiscent of the aperture of a lens.
Please join us! Reception at the courtyard restaurant Cuve'e at 8:00pm following the event. No host bar.
