ARE Seminars in the Wiltern Center, Los Angeles

Each year, the AIA/Los Angeles offers a seminar series to help candidates get ready for the licensing exam given by the California Architects Board. One seminar is dedicated to each of the sections of the ARE and there are 2 annual California Supplemental Exam (CSE) Prep Classes. Seminars are led by AIA members who bring their years of knowledge and experience to an informative review session that helps candidates to become familiar with the basic material covered in each section of the exam.

Licensing

Please note that AIA Los Angeles does not administer the licensing exam, nor are we authorized to issue licenses. For detailed information on licensing, on education and work requirements, or about the exam itself, please contact the California Architects Board at 916-575-7220 and request a Candidate's Handbook, or visit www.cab.ca.gov on the Web. Please watch this site for periodic updates.

General Information

Seminars are held at the Wiltern Center, in the AIA/Los Angeles Chapter Office (3780 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 800.) Enter from Wilshire Blvd and take the elevator to the 8th floor. Parking is available for $8 at the Ralphs/Wiltern structure or on 6th, 7th, or Oxford (be sure to read all posted signs).

Please note that there are NO CANCELLATIONS and NO REFUNDS of registration fees.

Date, times & Instructors subject to change at the discretion of AIA/LA. Dates and times do occasionally change. If you cannot attend a rescheduled date, credit will be offered towards a future class.
