LArchitecture Month

About LArchitecture Month

The month of October was officially proclaimed Architecture Month by the City of Los Angeles in 2007. The emphasis was and still is on bringing together diverse professional and public-interest groups, including AIA Los Angeles and a host of participating organizations, to celebrate the built environment and bring awareness to the importance of design to the community at large.

The 2014 theme is, "#DesignCloudLA," that invokes the technological term of a "cloud computing" and having many devices accessible to the same program. With that in mind LArchitecture Month strives to bring many organizations together in pushing architecture and design forward in our City.

We will be presenting a calendar thick with events of interest for design and architecture professionals as well as the community at large in hope to continuously stir the conversation about the importance of good design for our city of Los Angeles.
