Interiors Architecture Committee

The committee’s mission is to increase awareness of significant interior architecture within the greater Los Angeles area among the architecture and design community, as well as the supporting manufacturer, vendor and construction community. To provide support to and encourage professional involvement with architecture and design students and their educational institutions. To reach out to the community, to become involved with significant causes and enhance the reputation of the committee within the general public.

The Interiors Committee will continue to bring together architects, designers, vendors andrelated industry professionals through monthly programs, tours, and special events including the1:2 Student Competition, Spring Tour, and Design Meets Los Angeles (DMLA). The 1:2 event is a scholarship competition that differs from the 2x8 in that it focuses on interior design rather than architecture. The Spring Tour provides access to several exclusive projects that feature stellar examples of interior architectural design. The annual DMLA has become one of the most popular and well-regarded networking events for the interior industry in Los Angeles.
