Last Updated: Aug 24, 2011
The program was designed to teach how resins provide unique material options that can be utilized for exterior projects. Showcasing a number of resin options that can be employed to address performance and aesthetic aspects of countless exterior applications, the program consisted of a thorough review of different thermoplastic resin performance criteria including: UV resistance, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, cleaning and maintenance.
Actual test-performance demonstrations were included in the program. Architects and designers had a comprehensive understanding of the traditional material (glass, wood, metal, etc.) limitations that resins can help overcome when designing the exterior aspects of any project.
