Think Tank discussion on AI and the Workplace: The Peril and Promise of Advanced Computing
Wednesday, July 19 (4 - 6pm)
6116 Washington Blvd
Culver City, CA 90232

Join Metropolis' Susan S. Szenasy and Clive Wilkinson Architects for a Think Tank discussion on AI and the Workplace: The Peril and Promise of Advanced Computing

As the power and presence of artificial intelligence grows, and machines increasingly become autonomous, what work will be left for us, mere humans? With our occupations such a central part of how we see ourselves, the worker’s concern with AI is as much existential as it is economical. Our cities and lifestyle shall be impacted by the new technological change brought on by Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things, and it is incumbent on city planners and architects to anticipate a new urban culture based on extreme mobility, connectedness and tribal communities

Metropolis Director of Design Innovation, Susan S. Szenasy, known for her provocative but supportive moderating style, will lead conversations, focusing on the human factor: In search of human and earth centered design while looking at the collaborative opportunities between manufacturers, architects, designers, industry experts, clients and thought-leaders.
