RICS Southern California Chapter is very pleased to present an interactive seminar on How to Raise Your Emotion Quotient.  Our expert speakers are Lisa Sachs, FAIA, CCM, LEED GA, Managing Director at Cumming Corporation, and Daniel Iacofano, FAICP, FASLA, founding principal of MIG, a planning, design communications and management firm.

The construction process is inherently human with all of the fears, foibles and weaknesses of any enterprise; based on relationships, understanding, communications and processes, working with people and teams, and trying to solve problems. All of these are dependent on human activity and when we are responsible to ensure on budget and on time completion of projects we are put under even more stress further taxing our personal style.  Every project/construction manager must learn the right skills to be a strong facilitator to improve their success factor.  There is no App for your smart phone or tablet to take care of this.  You are the App.  Your performance will get results and improve your communications with colleagues.  Becoming self-aware and understanding how to work in a group is the first place to start as a leader of high performance teams.

RICS is an AIA CES provider.
