Join us for a tour LA’s hottest new spaces: Meet at the Allsteel Showroom (Wolcott) for breakfast, and on to the understated elegance of Boston Consulting Group (Shubin Donaldson) on the 51st Floor, both in City National Plaza. Then get a sneak peek of the nearly complete Wilshire Grand Center (AC Martin), followed by a sumptuous lunch at Giulia. Wear your walking shoes!

The Spring Tour will begin in Allsteel Resource Center for registration and for breakfast and refreshments provided by Allsteel.  The 10,000 sf resource center is contemporary in its simplicity, providing a perfect back drop for the Allsteel product line.  A reclaimed wood wall the length of the showroom acts as a focal point, adding texture and warmth.  WELL Building Standard practices are implemented to support human health and wellbeing.

Boston Consulting Group wanted their west coast headquarters to express the company ethos of “unlimited possibilities”, ultimately reflected in a 60-foot tall reception area with uninterrupted 360-degree vistas from the 51stand 52nd floors.  In creative partnership with BCG leadership, a 38,000 sf unconventional working environment of understated elegance was designed for the nomadic and contemplative nature of BCG consultants, which also resonates the many facets that influence business conditions today.

AC Martin is the Design Architect, Architect of Record, and Interior Designer of the Wilshire Grand Center. AC Martin is the designer of the hospitality interiors for the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, including the design of the lobbies, restaurants, health club, and rooftop lounge. As an interior design consultant to AC Martin, Wilson Associates collaborated on guest rooms, suites, ballrooms, meeting rooms and pre-function spaces.

Enjoy a preview of the most anticipated new building in Southern California.  At $1.2 billion dollars, the 73-story, 1,100-foot tall Wilshire Grand Center is a building of great complexity and innovation.  Experience the grand entrances of the first floor before being transported directly to the 70th Floor lobby and main entry for the soon to open Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel. From there the tour continues, featuring casual and upscale dining areas, guest room floors, and rooftop bar.

Recently opened, Giulia serves Modern Italian cuisine worthy of the best European cafés.  From the street, a short flight of stairs reveals an art nouveau influenced bar and dining room.  We will continue up a sweeping staircase to enjoy a sumptuous luncheon on the terrace level.
