This month's session looks at two of the many modular and prefabricated building solutions that are revolutionizing the way healthcare environments are being constructed.  By moving production offsite and delivering manufactured components to the project site, quality is better controlled, waste is reduced, and product consistency is enhanced.

Attendees will learn:

• How modular and prefabricated construction technology is more rapidly being implemented into healthcare designs as a way to reduce costs and decrease construction time

• How evolving innovation in areas like prefabricated exterior building systems and "plug and play" patient room bathrooms provides flexibility and standardization in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

• How fabricators have managed to meet the demands of rigorous code requirements with less rework and better production efficiency.

Special thanks to Perkins+Will for hosting this event at their office, and to DPR for generously sponsoring refreshments.
