The relationship between humans and their environments is fundamentally fragmented. We tend to perceive natural systems as separate from ourselves, in places beyond our buildings and cities. But the places where we live, work, and play are not static containers — they are dynamic organisms that live and breath like we do.

Reuben Herzl will be discussing feedback loops as a design framework and explore how they exist throughout our behaviors and environments.

Reuben Herzl is a designer based in Los Angeles. He previously worked in architecture firms such as Kanner Architects and Clive Wilkinson Architects. He is currently the design director of Aclima, a technology company that designs and deploys sensor networks.
