The 2018 AIA|LA Breakfast Series serves as an opportunity for architects, designers, and community stakeholders to meet directly with key individuals transforming Los Angeles in a roundtable setting to discuss innovative ideas that will ensure a healthy, sustainable, and economically competitive future.
Amy Anderson has been actively involved in working with affordable housing in Southern California for over 18 years. She is a proven leader in planning, developing, and financing affordable housing and has impacted innumerable individuals and families from marginalized communities over the years.

Prior to joining PATH Ventures, Ms. Anderson was a Senior Program Manager for six years at the California Housing Partnership Corporation. In this role, Amy provided financial consulting, technical assistance, and training to nonprofit and government clientele throughout Southern California. She also has had considerable first-hand experience as a housing developer with Abode Housing, formerly the L.A. Community Design Center.

Amy received her master's degree in Urban Planning from UCLA and her B.A. in History from Cornell University. Ms. Anderson’s passion for affordable housing extends beyond the workplace. She sat on the Board of Directors and was later President of the Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing (SCANPH). Amy also served a three-year term as Housing Commissioner and currently is a Planning Commissioner for the City of Santa Monica.
