Full Description:
AIA|LA is planning forums to engage members in conversations exploring the profession's on-going commitment to promoting social equity, inclusion, diversity, and care for the planet.  In this political climate challenging social and environmental progress, we want to use these forums to explore, define and strengthen our priorities relative to building healthy, diverse communities, addressing climate change and reinforcing our commitment to embrace diversity in our profession.

Each forum will focus on one of the many challenges of social equity, inclusion and environmental responsibility with a brief panel presentation followed by extensive dialogue with the audience. Our goal is to go beyond just conversation to generate positive actions for the profession and our community.

By holding the forums at local schools of architecture AIA|LA hopes to bring together voices of the future generation of architects with active practitioners to define design actions that reflect our shared values. In this moment in history, it's important that we focus on collective action. We hope that you will bring your perspective to help define the path forward.
