AIA|LA Urban Design Committee: Buildings that Make a City

The Urban Design Committee has been engaged in an ongoing conversation about improving Los Angeles' urban form.

At our October meeting we will move this conversation from the public to the private realm and explore the buildings that make good urbanism - an equally important topic, for what is the best public realm without an equally engaging city fabric to match!

In a series of short presentations we will introduce urban building types that we're not seeing enough of and some of which we have yet to see in LA. These building types range from residential to mixed-use, from the highly urbanized to the less dense, from the commonplace to the experimental.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 22nd at 7pm.
