Baseline Mansionization/ Baseline Hillside (BMO/ BHO) Code Amendments
At present, The Los Angeles Department of City Planning is crafting amendments to improve the existing BMO/ BHO Ordinance.  Their departmental leadership has generously set aside time to hear from architects that are passionate about improving the built environment of Los Angeles by ensuring that the ordinance is smart, effective and as clear and concise as possible.

The BMO/ BHO is an ordinance to amend Sections 12.03, 12.07, 12.07.01, 12.07.1, 12.08, and Section 12.21 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to establish new regulations for all single-family residential zoned properties including RA, RE, RS, and R1.

This is your chance to review the draft ordinance and provide specific and constructive feedback on how the amendments can be improved upon.  Please share your comments in writing to Hagu Solomon-Cary (Hagu.Solomon-Cary@lacity.org) by Monday, January 11th and and copy Will Wright (will@aialosangeles.org).
