When:
Friday, January 23, 2015 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Where:
Cerritos College, 11111 New Falcon Way Cerritos, CA 90703

Description of Event:
Hotels, motels, and inns along with restaurants are one of the more complex building types due to the varying requirements both from a scoping perspective to technical. Not only do guest rooms have a myriad of requirements but there are a number of other diverse elements, each with their own requirements often found within one facility. This seminar will touch on the broad view of what is typically found in hospitality-type facilities.

Objectives:

  • Understand the different components, for transient loading entries from drop-off to check-in.
  • Review both technical and scoping parameters for guest rooms for mobility and communication.
  • Learn about the new requirements regarding pools, spas, and fitness centers.
  • Overview retail, restaurant, and other elements often-times found in transient lodging.
