In Memoriam: Elaine Jones, Hon. AIA/LA

AIA Los Angeles is saddened to announce that Elaine Kollins Sewell Jones, Hon. AIA/LA, public relations counselor and communication specialist, and widow of architect A. Quincy Jones, has passed away at the age of 92.
Elaine worked with, and was an inspiration to, many architects, designers and students over the years. She was a tireless archivist of A.Q. Jones' career and donated a wealth of materials to the UCLA Department of Special Collections.
AIA|LA sends its heartfelt condolences to her friends and family. Donations in her honor may be made to the A. Quincy Jones Memorial Scholarship/USC at the USC School of Architecture, Watt Hall 204, Los Angeles 90089-0291.
