2007 Restaurant Design Awards
The Restaurant Design Awards honor excellence in restaurant design. The competition is open to all individuals and practices (both restaurant owners and architects/designers) for projects located in the greater Los Angeles area. Submissions are accepted in three main categories: restaurants, café/bar and lounges/night clubs.

A panel of distinguished jurors, composed of Ann Gray, FAIA (FORM Magazine); Hillary Jaye (Sussman/Prejza & Company, Inc.); Josh Schweitzer (Schweitzer BIM); and Nancy Silverton (founder, La Brea Bakery/co-founder, Mozza) convened on October 1, 2007 to review this year’s entries and designate projects for recognition.
Fourteen projects were selected as finalists for this year’s competition: 6 in the Restaurant Category and 6 in the Cafes/Bars Category, and 2 in the Lounge/Nightclub Category. The Jury Awards will be announced at the Restaurant Design Awards Ceremony on October 25th at Poliform.
